Biography

I am an Ebru (Turkish Paper Marbling) artist currently living in Boston, Massachusetts. My artistic journey began with a deep appreciation for the harmony between nature, tradition, and culture. As I explored the art of marbling, I found a unique way to express my roots while sharing the beauty of Turkish Traditional Arts with a broader audience.

In my marbling practice, I bring together traditional flower motifs, contemporary interpretations, and original designs, creating compositions that reflect both heritage and innovation. My goal is to introduce others to the richness of Turkish art, weaving stories of nature, culture, and imagination through each piece.

Beyond Ebru, I am passionate about exploring other branches of arts, including water color, Calligraphy (Hat), Illumination (Tezhip). These art forms continue to inspire me and expand the scope of my creative expression.

Before fully embracing my artistic path, I trained and worked as a lawyer in Türkiye, and I am currently a PhD candidate in law. This background has shaped my perspective as an artist, giving me a strong sense of discipline, detail, and dedication that I carry into my creative practice.

I am married and the proud parent of a son, who inspires me in both life and art.
